Lunafreya from FFXV is the most mistreated leading girl from the franchise. In her own game she barely had time to shine, is underveloped and doesn't feel important even tought she is one of the most pivotal characters. Anything they tried to do later to better her role, was too late and didn't fixed problems with her backstory and relationships with characters key to her story. Dressing Nikki as Luna is a way to give her an adventure that a leading girl deserves.
